A thick hardback leather bound book, encrusted with golden lettering; The pages are a yellow pigment, symbolising the book is clearly quite old and ancient. Beneath the golden encrusted lettering, lyes a crystal; althoiugh it looks like diamond or plastic, its actually a rare diamond which in the 18th century was found by Viola's ancient sveotcha blood-line, and was immediately passed on to the leader of the blood-line, Krista. Viola being the mischevious child she was, toke the crystal and with fine leather string bound the crystal into her diary; The golden encrusted lettering would read Short Childrens Stories, this being just for purely disguise purposes; When you open the book, you find the first few pages encrusted with delicate and beautiful quill written childrens storys, but as the pages go on, the book itself turns into a diary; Most people who would receive possession of this book, would read the beginning few sentences of the childrens stories, and then get bored unaware of what storys and secrets can be found within the pages. A few pages have been ripped out and it is obvious; When you open the book the smell of worn pages, and mothballs fills the air. Flick through the pages too fast, and get an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. other than that.. the book is harmless. It appears to be a simple childs book owned by Viola;

I cannot beleive what happend last night. Father came into my bedroom and.. It pains me to think about why he would do such a thing, He tied barbed wire around my wrist, and cut me with his dagger several times. I thought I was his darling angel, what's mother going to think when she see's these scars to her twin daughter, as she likes to call me. My bandages are filled with blood, and it is not something I can hide from my mother with her great senses. I can't even write in my journal when she's around because she traces the scraping of my quill against the parchment and finds out word for word what I wrote, before it even gets sealed in the envelope. I close my eyes and i see the lifeless stare in my fathers eyes as she suffocated me, I wasn't able to fight back, He had my right arm, my arm which has more impact tied down with barbed wire and his knee pinning down my other one, I was helpless. I eventually blacked out to be awoken my the slicing gashes of his blade as it ripped through my flesh like it was butter, only to reveal my blood within. I'm suprised I didn't die. When the torture drew to an end, my father looked as if he was posessed, coming out of a trance. I will seek revenge, this I swear.

Signed.

It is clear alot of pages have been torn out after this segment; before and after. Some of the pages look as if they have been burned out, whilst the others look like they have been torn. After afew brief points on how she feels, what she's done and so on, the pages start on the 28th May, 2012;

The yellow pigmented parchment is filled with a neat and delicate handwriting, its clear the writing was Viola's. The ink was not dried properly, so some of the ink may be smuged but this is very doubtful;

28th May, 2012

It has been lovely weather around alabaster, i'm glad I moved here, although there are quite afew negatives to living in alabaster. The village is over-run with adolesant teenagers, who are just looking for a relationship, a companion. Quite pathetic really, no one understands the love you already have between yourself and your soul. Roughly, i've counted about.. Six sluts within the village, who are just seeking an easy fuck. Four arrogant men, One flirt of a male, One vampire who can't control his feeding, but he's like my new pet, One delightful box of sunshine who has a starring problem. One pigheaded male. Yes, so thats the upside of living in a village, the vast amount of different personalities, is uncanny. That was sarcasm.

Yes, so as for the vampire who is unable to control his feeding. He is quite the character, has a bit of an anger problem.. He barged past me, which is a very rude way to treat a woman of the 16th century. So, i siphered the air from his body. He deserved it, but then he calmed down, and it turns out he's quite a nice guy.

Then there is Skylar, she is definately an excellent character who i wouldn't mind spending alot of time with, because she is normal, not vain. Although she has a few body issue's which can easily be smoothed over. Other than that, she's a good person.

Now, the flirtacious Ryu. He seems like quite the intellegent man, but when he see's something he likes he's like a drewling dragoon pup, which he is except for the pup part. Although, i have to admit he is quite attractive. Oh god, this village has turned me into one of those babbling slutty airheads. If i beleived in god, i'd be requesting his help right now, but he's just some wacko author's character, and then all of a sudden, he's the big boss. Clearly they haven't met me yet. That was a joke...

And last, but not least.. The box of sunshine who I met.. well saw yesterday, she seemed nice, but she has the weirdest mannerism's. She's violent, like myself which I don't care about. She seems to be quite miserable, and her smile does not seem to be genuine, She has a sort of lifelessness to her eyes, although she's vamparic, she still looks .. off, and then there is the wonderful .. saying I smell like her auntie, how weird is that, I don't wear perfume, and she must be able to smell my scent.. which would mean... THERE'S ANOUTHER SVETOCHA IN ALABASTER! ... I have to meet this woman, but how.. where... I must follow the girl.

On the yellow pigmented parchment pages of the leather bound book; lies writing in a somewhat shaky form of handwriting. The handwriting is clearly Viola's but it remains shaky. The ink on the page has dried, but there is some blotches of ink dotted around the parchment; perhaps due to her quill running out of ink, or the ink being to watery; At the bottom of the parchment page lies a small drawing which seems to be decoration on the page, spirals and swirls of black ink with a elegant V in the center of the swirls.

1st of June, 2012.

Well, how can I put this... The day started off very well, until it was time for medication, with all the unpacking I have left to do, I had forgot to unpack my vials of medicine to last me the rest of the month. It toke me a hole hour to unpack the boxes left to find in the last one, we're infact the vials and to my horror, some had smashed. So, I toke my medication and the day had started of well...

I've been here for somewhat a week now, and i've already been taken unwell due to the pharmacist in the old town I lived, having given me insuline. I didn't egzactly understand at first as the vials looked the same, but for a vamparic pharmacist to give myself someone else's vials of insuline.. dreadful news. I didn't even know they're we're such things as diabetic vampires or even dhampir or svetocha for that matter, I suppose you learn something new everday. So for the past two days, I've been unable to move due to the lack of energy from not being able to feed, so i've been couch-bound. Now, my new vial's came along with some other stuff my friend had sent me because it didn't all fit in the ferry, and i'm as right as rein. Although i've encountered a few dizzy spells, like a nicotine addict who hadn't had they're nicotine dose in a few days.. I'm sure i'll be fine.

I've seen that dreadful girl again, how stupid may she get? I wonder...

I also saw, I beleive her name was.. Ariane in the tavern, but its no concern of mine. She seems ok, i'd like to get to know her.

Signed.

On the parchment pages, Viola's handwriting is written elegantly amongst the page; Various swirls at the ends of some of the letters. A loose feather from Viola's quill stuck onto the page due to the ink it fell on drying; The page is decorated with an ink boarder spiralling around the page;

It would seem i've rattled a few feathers. Being brought century's ago has had an impact on my social skills around some people. I spoke with Ariane yesterday, and it would seem I came across as patronizing. Which was not my intentions. I will definately have to change the way I look to people, Age is nothing but a number, its one's maturity that is what matters.

Other than that, I've been "interrogated" three times in the past week i've been here. Its not like I mind, Its bound to take some time to get aquainted with everyone, and grow friendships. Which hopefully will occur soon. I still have not met with the presence of Rose the other Svetocha that occupies the village. She's clearly well known by Ariane as Ariane told me previously she was her aunt or godmother which definately is something.

I don't know why i'm so hung up on this Ariane character, I don't look at people by their titles, in some cases its just something your born into, or some cases you inheritt it. I'm not a ... fame seeker like most people who occupy small villages. If i wanted fame, I could have it via the Polidori, but Ariane is definately a smart girl, who has her head on her shoulders. The youngest girl to be incharge of the Rosetta coven. Which is indeed very amazing.

Ah, it feels as if I haven't written within this journal in months. Its some what refreshing to know, I can update my journal upon the events that have happend in alabaster since I last wrote.

Well, a plague has struck alabaster forcing all its residents into the tunnels, thankfully the cottage had a tunnel, so i'm ok but i've heard some property's havent got a tunnel which is a true shame, but i beleive before the plague struck, some of the residents of alabaster have been sleeping under blankets or sleeping bags in the tunnels. I've been getting a real sense that the community of alabaster's residents have gotten stronger, assisting people with food and such. But, sleeping in damp tunnels cannot be good for ones immune system, but as i've said to most of the residents of alabaster if they'd like somewhere warm to stay, there is always the couches, and ofcourse they can use the washing facilitys within the cottage, but most of them have refused as they don't want to be a burden, which honestly does sadden me, to think that people feel as if they cannot come into my home, to clean themselves, sleep somewhere comfortable or even sit by the fire for a few hours to warm up from the vastly cold tunnels.

The restaurant and Bakers come sweet shop have sucessfully been opened, and the tunnels have finally been cleared of furniture and things which we're clocking them but i'm thankful to say that they are now able to access through the tunnels. In the bakers I have employed a truly wonderful nemphilim girl, who is very enthusiastic about baking, so she was perfect for the job. Her name is Esmerelda and she is truly an enthusiastic member of staff to have working for myself, and i'm paying a good wage, which she also appreciates. In the restaurant i've employed a young neko who enjoys working in the restuaurant, but there is also a few chefs, Andre, Mika and Barney. They are also enthusiastic about cooking, so i'm pleased to say I am now a sucessful business-woman, who has enthusiastic staff working for myself. Unfortunately, the clothing store's tunnel is still in clearing process, as there is alot of debree within the tunnel, but we're recycling it to make a stone floor, which i beleive will look truly wonderful when the renovations are complete.

I'm rather proud of myself, Mother has been getting into contact with me, wondering if i'd like to take my position within the coven, but i'm still putting it off, because for the meantime Alabaster is my home, and i'm having opened several business's, i'm not going to leave now.

It would seem that the business's opening within the tunnels has taken a turn for the worst, although i'll get all my money back via insurance, The restaurant and Bakers have collapsed, blocking the tunnel entrances to them, but its not biggy I still have the small boutique at the back of my home, which I pass through to get to the main tunnels, I'm beginning to find the neighbours near the cottage are ever so noisey. Screams at what, Quater to Three in the morning, But, I fell back to sleep so it was no problem, but you never know.. Here I am, looking out the window of the cottage and all I see is pure emptyness, as if its a ghost town. I'd kill to be able to open the window, and breath some fresh air, but I cant as someone has placed a hex upon the windows and doors to make them remain closed, which generally does suck. I'm bunged up with a cold aswell, but this warm lemon and honey is making my airways easier to breath from, aha.

I threw a young man into the demons which guard the tunnels, and suggested they kill him... but i was only joking, and all I see is them pick him up by his neck and plant his head into the marble flooring of the boutique, it was quite gruesome, and then they dragged him away, but I sent someone to rescue him, and apologised which he accepted, those guards are quite nasty.. they think we owe them something, what's going to happen next they'll be raping all the females or something.

Now, im going to head down to the tunnels and hopefully find a good conversation which is doubtful as its... 8:30 in the morning, but Riane's usually awake early, so i'll just find her. How stalkerish, I know what time Riane is usually awake.

Signed.

I've sensed something different within the tunnels of alabaster, whether its that I haven't met Rose in a while, or that strangely i've been noticing the life drain from some of the resident's eyes. I'm sitting here, writing about the thoughts that ponder though my mind, though their quite great, over my adventures I've encountered through life, It's quite thrilling to just relax and think about what I've done in the past two century's...

I've noticed that my skin is growing pale from the lack of light and vitamins which I haven't been able to get a hold, thankfully Angelo had given me a month's worth of medications before we we're told that we must reside within the tunnels of alabaster... So from what I can get my hands on, I've been feeding well... I've looked out my window today, and noticed how dreary it has got.. my plants are probably ruined...

Hmm, we shall see when we're aloud out.. I'm not going to sit indoors unless its necessary for a week, air is good, especially when its fresh.

Signed.
Violaine.
